Greetings? Railgunfan 75 here with a quick announcement for everyone. I will be running a Weiss Schwarz night at My Animix (5600 75th St, Kenosha, WI 53142) on Saturday July 13th from 5-8 pm. The store has graciously allowed me to come in that evening and host an event in which you can either come in and learn the game that I blog so much about. Also if you already know how to play then feel free to stop by and meet fellow players! I am always excited to have the opportunity to introduce new players to the game or to meet other players. For those who want to try out the game, trail decks will be available to use for you to give the game a shot.
It is also a great opportunity to check out an amazing store which has a coll selection of anime and manga related items. They also hold other events each month as well such as game nights, Japanese lessons, and movie nights.
If you live in the area, it would be awesome if you come by and join us for what promises to be a fun evening. I also want to thank My Animix for providing me with the opportunity to spread the word about the game and for letting me use their awesome space. Sadly, no one showed up. Going to try again next month.
Bummer! It’s too long a drive for me to make without taking vacation time, and it’s hard for me to be away from home, so I couldn’t make it.
I hope next month goes more smoothly!
Thanks. I have expected to get no turnout so it doesn’t bother me any. I’m grateful that the store is willing to give another shot though. Most places I’ve tried this at won’t even do that.
